WEM Threadless Yacht Cradles

They say the necessity is the mother of innovation - indeed that was the case when I made my first Yacht Cradle for my Contessa Yacht in 2019. Since then, our cradles have been shipped all over the Country.

What was the problem? 

Like many, we stowed our cradle in the Yard during the sailing season and despite our best efforts, when it came to assembling the Cradle in readiness for the lift out, I was constantly frustrated with corroded and/or damaged threads. 

So, we developed a Transportable, Modular and Adjustable Cradle with minimum threaded fixtures!

As you can see below, our cradles are adjustable in all dimensions. 

The width of the cradle pads (across the centreline) range from 0.5m to 4.6m

The height (from the floor) of the pads are adjustable from 1.0m to 2.0  on our std cradle

All Cradles are constructed from structural grade steel and CNC machined for consistent quality.  

All parts are acid etched and  Hot Dip galvanised to ensure the entire cradle is protected from the harsh saltwater environment.

The centre sections are modular and are available to add on to any std cradle.
